Again we were told that with a waiting time of min. 1 hour to count on our food because 20 guests have just ordered their food. In a restaurant with over 80 seats, this is probably an indictment and indicates that the staff is overloaded when more guests come. We left, of course, because we didn't want to have our lunch at coffee time. We'll probably choose a different restaurant next time. There is enough.

Great food, at great prices, actually six instead of five stars ..... Keep it up.

The day of hiking ended with a visit to the tavern in a cheerful group of gentlemen. Great food, large portions and small prices. All in a very pleasant atmosphere. They still exist, the Saxon-Bohemian hospitality. And that in a house

My wife and I were guests today with my children and my mother in the farmer's tavern in Borthen. The food was delicious and everything was right. I would particularly like to highlight the friendly, flexible and nice service, which you really don't find everywhere. My conclusion: Whether after a hike or in connection with a small purchase ... Moving into the farm tavern will always be worthwhile to strengthen the body and the great staff will pamper you. Many thanks to the team keep it up.

Food very tasty

Was there for the first but not the last time. Super tasty and down to earth. Here you really feel welcome as a guest.

The food tasted good, but waited an hour for it. Not possible. With the schnitzel, which is served gratinated, we just wanted to leave that out. No way went in either. Justification: It would burn. I beg your pardon?! Never again!

I was here for the first time today and am absolutely thrilled. I can only recommend the restaurant!

We are regular and always happy to be guests. The Bauernschänke is cozy, rustically furnished with rustic utensils and clean. On the menu you will find a good selection of very tasty dishes from traditional local cuisine at fairly moderate prices. The boss and his staff create a pleasant atmosphere. There is also the possibility to sit outdoors in good weather. The Corona guidelines are of course adhered to and the spatial conditions are favorable for this. Clear recommendation !!

Food reasonable in relation to the price. Some people liked it, others a little less. For me it was completely okay. The wow for a farmer's tavern was unfortunately somewhat lacking here. Operation could still be appropriate to the topic of dirndls and a bit slow, which was due to a lack of employees, so there was progress. The banana wheat was incorrectly restricted although it is on the menu. You should already know that. All in all, you can still drop in here. Everyone was friendly too.

Here you can stop off comfortably. There is something for everyone on the menu, in any case it tasted good to us. If you come with small children, there is a large play area here. The price / performance ratio still fits here! We will definitely drop by again!

The food is really great and quite cheap. German cuisine and very lovingly prepared. In addition a successful ambience. Parking directly in front of the object. Only when the good-natured boss is not there, "the mice (employees) dance on the table". The music is turned so loud that you can barely talk and the guests are then rather annoying accessory. That needs to change. Update: It changed a lot during our last two visits. Now I feel really comfortable as a guest here and I want to come back again. The 5th star has actually earned the Bauernschänke!

Home-style cuisine at a reasonable price. Rich and delicious. Ambience very comfortable and the staff nice and friendly.
